  8.  ■ What is it?
  9.    -----------

  11.    DVS is a verification system that will check your phone-number for 
  12.    existence and protects this system against fake-users.
  13.    "Fake-Users" are people who are not welcome at this system and 
  14.    trying to log in with other names. DVS will not call a number that is 
  15.    used earlier at this system. So nobody can use your number ever
  16.    again and your privacy is optimal.

  20.  ■ How to use DVS

  23.    Using DVS is very simple.
  24.    You choose the line you want to be called back on and DVS will hang up.
  25.    Important is that you must be stand by. (NOT busy)
  26.    Regarding the communication-software you are using, the only thing you 
  27.    will have to do is:

  29.    when you see       "RING"
  30.    then you must type "ATA"   followed by <ENTER>
  31.  
  32.    NOTE! When your system is set to "AUTO ANSWER" you must do NOTHING.
  33.    (your system will anwser for you)
  34.    When your system is in auto-answer-mode and you do hit a key, your 
  35.    modem will hang up immediately.

  37.    So check out if your program is set to Auto-Answer or not!

  40.    Just before the call-back your will get a "DVS-CODE" which is unique
  41.    in every session.
  42.    When there is a connect again, DVS will ask the DVS-CODE to check it 
  43.    is realy you and then set you back to the BBS after updating your 
  44.    level.
  45.    The sysop of this system is free to give you some time to look around 
  46.    or not. When not, you will have to call again yourself.
